Globe registration is now required for all New Globe SIM card users safety in the Philippines, as mandated by Republic Act No 11934. This law aims to protect mobile phone user’s data and prevent fraudulent activities. Globe SIM Registration platform officially verifies each individual user’s personal information and identity details before activating the new Globe SIM card to ensure security.

Required Documents for Globe SIM Registration
To complete your Globe SIM registration, users need to provide a valid, government-issued ID for identity verification.


From the following valid Identity documents, only one is required, simply register your Globe SIM card online in the Philippines.

Globe SIM Registration
- Insert your new SIM card into your mobile phone.
- Visit the Globe Sim Registration online portal link. new.globe.com.ph/simreg
- Enter your SIM number in the given field.
- Verify your number by inserting the received OTP code.
- Fill out the necessary information (About You) SIM registration form.
- Full Name
- Birth Date
- Gender
- Nationality
- Government ID Card or Driver’s License (relevant acceptable ID)
- Location and Address
- Select your ID Type and provide your ID Number to verify your Identity.
- Upload your ID photo and Selfie photo to verify your identity.
- Read and agree to Globe’s Privacy Policy statement.
- Click Submit to complete your SIM registration Globe.
- Now save the Reference Number. It confirms your Globe SIM is successfully registered.
Congratulations, Globe Telecom officially registered your SIM card. Please wait for activation and verification, you’ll shortly receive an activation message to use your SIM number.
Important: Globe Reference ID serves as proof of your globe sim registration. Save this reference number after completing your Sim Registration Globe for confirmation of your registered mobile number.
SIM Activation Time
Once your SIM registration form is submitted, the Globe verification and validation process begins to confirm the provided information through the Philippine Identification System (a government database). Activation of your newly registered Globe SIM card typically takes up to 24 hours. You will receive an SMS confirmation from Globe informing you that your SIM is fully activated, ensuring your mobile number is ready for use. You can then make phone calls, send text messages, and use internet data at your comfort.

Important Notice: If your Globe SIM is not activated within 24 hours, call Globe Customer Support at 02 7730 1000 for assistance. Be sure to have your registration reference ID ready, as this will help them address any activation issues promptly.
Globe SIM Activation Status Check
To confirm the status of your registered Globe SIM, simply send the keyword “SIMREG” to 8080.
You will receive a message confirming whether your SIM is registered and activated. This process ensures successful verification.

GlobeOne App

To register your SIM using the GlobeOne app, follow these simple steps.
- Download the GlobeOne app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Enter your Globe mobile number to receive an OTP for verification.
- Provide your full name, nationality, address, and ID information.
- Upload your National ID and selfie to verify your identity.
- Submit your information and receive a reference ID.
You will receive a confirmation message that your Globe SIM is successfully registered.
Change or Update Personal SIM Information
You can update your registered SIM personal details through this process.
- Go to the Globe registration portal new.globe.com.ph.simreg.
- Under Register your SIM Now section, select View or Edit Your Details.
- Click ‘Already Registered’ to view and edit your details.
- Enter your registered Globe mobile number.
- Verify the OTP sent to your phone (valid for 5 minutes).
- Edit your personal information for an update.
- Upload your selfie and a photo of a valid government ID (National ID).
- Click ‘Save’ to confirm your changes.
Important Reminder: Globe allows up to update your details twice each year. For each time, it is a must to upload a valid ID and take a live selfie for verification.
Troubleshooting SIM Registrations
If your registered SIM Globe activation is delayed, try restarting your phone and check if you’ve received the confirmation SMS in your inbox. If you have not received any message, visit the Globe website to check your SIM status and confirm registration. You can also contact customer support at 02 7730 1000 for further assistance.
Reactivating Expired or Suspended SIM Card
Most network providers handle expired or suspended mobile numbers through a recycling process for reuse. You can contact Globe Telecom customer service at 02 7730 1000 and provide your SIM number for reactivation. If the number hasn’t been assigned to another user, you can still register it online and have it reactivated.
What to Do If You Lost Globe SIM
If you have lost your registered SIM Globe, report it immediately by visiting the nearest Globe Shop or by calling Globe Telecom customer service at 02 7730 1000 to have it blocked. After blocking the lost SIM, you can request a replacement SIM. Globe will transfer your registered number to the new SIM and grant it as your replacement.
Register SIM for Minors
To register a SIM for minors, the parent or legal guardian must provide their identification (National ID) supervision to complete the SIM registration process on behalf of the minor.
Multiple Globe SIM Cards
Registering multiple Globe SIM cards is easy with the Globe online portal. You can easily register multiple Globe SIM cards under your name. For each SIM card, follow the simple registration process. Make sure to complete the steps for each SIM individually, which includes uploading your ID, a selfie, and the required personal information.
